Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas, i.e., many boxes being delivered by Fedex, UPS and the US Postal Service. For people like me who don’t care if they ever see the inside of a shopping mall again, the ability to shop via the Internet is great.
It was too cold there for me…
I was in Burlington, VT, home of UVM, Ben & Jerry’s and many gallons of Maple Syrup a week or so ago. And it was cold! What really surprised me was the traffic congestion. Burlington has a population of about 40,000, but the traffic was as bad, if not worse, than that here in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
