…by any other name is still a name! The CMS formerly known as Mambo will be getting a new name at 1800 (6:00 PM) GMT tomorrow…there are an awful lot of web sites with Mambo as part of their domain name. It will be interesting to see how many folks register and use new domain names as a result.

Hey Mambo
I have been using an open source Content Management System (CMS) called Mambo as the engine for my main web site for about two years now. Well, it appears that the Mambo developers and the the original owners of the Mambo copyright have had a falling out. So, looks like one more time there is going to be fork in the open source road. Hope one or the other manages to keep Mambo (or whatever it morphs into) going since it really is a good product.
Reunion 2005
Went to the annual family reunion this past weekend. Not many attendees this year. Maybe next year will be better.
