Happy Birthday
Today is my birthday and also my grandson’s birthday. And we also celebrate the “terrible terrier” birthdays today…Gunston is now five years old and Piggy is 4 years old.
The Next One
This is the house two doors down from me. Its going to be demolished soon and relpaced with a new house. With the house next door under constructiion and the soon to be construction on this lot, I’m beginning to feel like I’m living in the middle of a “Suburban Renewal Zone.”Shell, Part V
The bricklayers finished last Friday. They are now in process of putting the vinyl siding on the other three sides of the house.Snow
Had first snow of the season yesterday evening and early today. About nine inches, but it is warming up and its melting already.
One for the Thumb
The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks 21-10 yesterday to win Super Bowl XL. They now have “One for the Thumb,” a reference to the fact that they won four Super Bowls within a span of six years during the 1970’s and needed one more to get five Super Bowl Rings….one for each finger and one for the thumb!
