Recovery
Slow but steady…
Not really, we just like the name…
Random stuff about HR and his world…

for “Dogs on Drugs”…
Back again and better than ever…or maybe not! Its really the “Dog Days of Summer” around here. Buster the dog is going though his annual late Summer bout with allergies. Every year this time, his feet get itchy and of course every year he chews on them and ends up wearing a cone on his head to prevent him from doing any further damage. And of course he becomes a poster boy for “Dogs on Drugs” as a result of having to take his allergy medicine.
Been there, done that…many times…
Last weekend I was in a place named Charleroi, PA. Why in Charleroi? To attend the annual family reunion. Its the same every year…see relatives I haven’t seen for 364 days, drink beer, eat too much, and take lots of pictures. Also got to spend some time with my brothers, who I don’t see more than one or two times a year.
Have more fun, but…

Jamboree in the Hills…been there, done that for this year. It was hot and there were too many people. Of course I say this every year and still go back year after year…18 years so far..
Do blonds really have more fun? Latest Blond Joke I heard goes something like this:
Three pregnant women were discussing the moment of conception. The redhead says” I was on the bottom, so I’m going to have a boy!” The brunette says: “I was on top, so I’m going to have a girl!” The blonde starts crying. The other two ask: “What’s wrong?” The blond replies: “I’m going to have puppies!”
Next weekend…
Its been a while since I last made an entry, so guess I better say something profound! So, here it is: “There’s always someone ahead of you in the dumb line!”
Next weekend, we’re going to the “Jamboree in the Hills” in St. Clairesville, OH, which is right across the border from Wheeling, WVA. Been doing this since 1983. Its always the third weekend in July.
Two big events…
Two big events yesterday…went to the “Race for the Cure” in downtown DC and had a tree stump removed in the backyard. Quite a contrast!
